Default Replacing rear subframe bushings

I'm going to be doing a whole bunch of work to my car here soon and I plan to go ahead and completely remove the rear subframe during the process.

The question I have is, should I still go ahead the get the bushing tool from creative steel even thou I'm removing the subframe or just remove the stock bushings without it? Whats the best way to go about removing the stock bushings without the tool?

Work being done
8.8 rear end swap
voodoochicken carrier bearing.....waiting on the DIY kit
hotchkis sway bars
Creative steel subframe bushings
Ground control coilovers
MightyMouse rear shock spacers
Creative steel shifter linkage connector
Wilwood clutch master cly

Lots of goodies on that list. It will be a profoundly new car to drive.

I didn't remove the entire subframe when replacing my cradle bushings, however, even if I was, I'd prefer to use the CS tool. It's well worth it.

Can use a sawzall or an air hammer (I've heard.)

to me after doing mine i could not see doing it without the tool. obviously its possible and maybe not even that hard but the tool was way to easy not to go that route.

I did it on a lift with a sawzall and it took 45 minutes in and out. No special tools needed, but then again, I'm a G on a sawzall.
