I dont know about a CTS-V but in a CTS the transmission tunnel has to be massaged with a BFH to get the 4L80 in. I used a one piece drive shaft. No carrier bearing.

4l80e is already in and wire up next to do is the driveshaft and shifter. Do think i can use my drive shaft from cs 8.8 swap by just replacing the slip yoke?

You would be better off getting a new driveshaft made. Just use a stock slip yoke for the 4L80e and stock driveshaft flange off of a 03+ Ford Explorer. Then it would be just a normal driveshaft with two u-joints.

Then boxed up your CS8.8 and sell it to me cheap.

Hard to believe someone did a trans conversion, wired it in, programmed the computer and couldn't figure this out.

Sometimes it's better to ask for a second opinion
