Default Please help

I have a 2005 cts-v manual I bought with no motor but has harnesse and ecu that was left on it bought a motor pulled out of a 2004 pontiac gto I can't find a 2005 cts-v tranny anywere but 2007 ctsv tranny so will 07 ctsv tranny will it bolt up to a 2004 gto motor and be able to drive it

The 2 will bolt together no problem. Make sure you've got the right pilot bearing in the crank. Should be the big ball bearing that sits flush with the end of the crank. Not the smaller needle bearing or bushing that sits in the crank. The other issue is you will need CTS-V accessories and balancer. The GTO uses a different offset than the V.
