Default CTS-V low dyno numbers

Hey guys at TX2K5 last weekend their was a bone stock CTS-V they strapped to the dyno. They did 2 pulls on the car. Car ended up pulling off 313.7rwhp. Is that normal?? My cousin dynoed a CTS-V a few weeks ago and the best he got was 317rwhp. I guess the stock exhaust must suck, or that IRS is pulling alot of HP. The GTO's though are dynoing almost as high, but are rated 50hp less. I was just checking to see if you guys are getting the same results.

I'd guess drive train loss. And I've heard the stock exhaust is horrible.

Actually the stock exhaust is very well designed, just needs a little help to up flow.

I've only seen #s around 9-12 on average with aftermarket exhaust sytems.

I will say however, the threads I've seen the V gets better with mileage, ours is stronger now than when new.
