Default A question about the Nivomat shocks

Durr ahhh............ this may be a dumb question but, if the Nivomat shocks are self leveling why don't the back shocks drop when the front end is lowered to keep the car level?

Trying to figure a way to use my Eibach's until I buy some performance shocks.

The Nivomats return to a factory set length which keeps the car level if one keeps the V stock.

Lowering the front or the rear with shorter springs will not stop the Nivomats from returning to their factory length.
