HELP!!!! 2004 cts tail lights?

im trying to change the stop light in the passenger side but i cant get to the tail light how do i get the black plastic out thats blocking it?? plz help!!!

You pull the trunk lining out right by the light. Then a 10mm will take the nuts off the assembly and the whole thing will pull out. Then you change the bulb.
