Default Formato Tuned CTSV 10.64 @ 130mph

Stock bottom end, blower and stall.

Hot and humid in S Florida, he ran a new best of 10.64 at 130mph, previous to Jeremy tuning it, it did not break the 11's. To our knowledge, this is the fastest CTS V in the category of stock bottom end, blower and stock stall.

Should have video of the run soon -

Here are a couple of it on the dyno:

Rear axle? It's a 2nd gen, they don't have rear axle problems like the orginal v's.

I couldn't see the vid at work so I assumed it was a V1...I figured there were several V2's in the 10s.

You should look into getting the blower ported if you haven't already. I'm getting mine done this sat and have been hearing kickass results from it.

and the main reason why that hasnt happened is because everytime someone want to take on that goal someone with a v comes out and says " bro the v is made to take turns man, if you want to drag do buy a f body"

in time this v2 chassis will do some special thing, and many will break along the way. but i rarely hear their guys saying to go buy a fbody or something.

I wish i had the money and ***** to throw a straight axle rear in the car, I guarantee with a 175 shot on what i have now and a hell of a launch high tens would be attainable. I cant believe no one wants the title of fastest V1 in the country. I mean we have 800+rwhp V1's around but the fastest ive seen is 11.6.

putting a straight axle in the car would kill the spirit of the car. and putting in a solid rear to run 10s is rather slow for so much work.

Cobra's do it all the time and actually drop weight in the process... one of quickest running ported blower cobra's around here had a solid rear.

Looks like Rage-Tek, I assume this is a local car?

What mods are done to it?
Those are pretty stout numbers for the stock blower.

Id have a hard time doing a solid rear because of that. The car is my daily driver and I love the way it drives. I just hate that I cant beat the hell out of it at the drag strip. But nothing perfect lol.

Sounds great. Are you sure it's a 2009? The V badge is on the wrong side for a 2009 V.
