Default GMPP/warranty questions.

So I own a 2005 V, its extended GMPP is about to expire in the next 6 months.
I happen to have come across an 07 V with about half the miles as mine and it looks like I would be out of pocket about 5 grand + tax.

What I was thinking, I could get the GMPP and I believe get 2 more years of "full coverage" aka another dif/radio and radiator. Correct?

Personally, I'd keep yours and use the ~$7k+ (did you include other fees, too?) for things that may come up; unless you're talking about financing, which adds a lot more money in the long run. Unless maybe you feel your car is in bad shape and you don't do your own work, etc. (I avoid dealer whenever I can), I don't see the advantage of buying a newer one, unless it was a big upgrade that would include many other things (like an 09+)
