Default Pulley/CAI swap, tune results. 09 A6.

We tuned this car a week or so ago, and it came back today for a retune for the new pulley and Airaid CAI. He also added a Hennessey Heat Exchanger.

This is the results of the car stock with tune only vs. today with the addition of a few psi and a CAI.
Pretty stout!

These tunes will be available soon in the Trinity for all Gen2 V owners.

Thanks

Mike: what kind of dyno are you using and how does it compare to a dynojet? Also, are you using a sniffer at the tailpipe for A/F or a bung before the cats?

Mike, the car is running great. I just wish the weather wasn't so miserable and I could go do some more driving.

Its a Superflow Chassis dyno, and if you look, the numbers are corrected to 'DJ' numbers...

Sick!
Its and awesome car. Easily the coolest things on the road these days, and a 4 door rocketship to boot.
Weathers clearing up, have fun tonight`

I'm going to take her to the track tomorrow (PBIR) morning and try and get a couple runs in. Let me know if you want to go.

OK, I'll bite. What's "DJ"?

I'm familiar with STD and SAE.

Do superflow dynos typically read higher than dynojets or lower like mustangs?

So this dyno was set to mimic dynojet numbers? But what dynojet numbers, it gives 6 choices for correction factors.
I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm trying to compare his results to mine with a dynojet. He has the lower pulley which should make a little more boost than my upper and is running a CAI where my results were with a stock, not cut, factory air box and paper filter. He got more low end torque but no more horsepower than mine. If these two dyno runs were on the same dyno (and same tune, same car) I would say that the supercharger is overspun and maxed out, and that the factory airbox and filter are not a restriction. Here's my results, care to comment?

Well, forget dyno numbers....
The 4 door rocketship known as Marsads CTSV backed up the numbers this morning running an 11.62 @ 122.
Sick.

The car runs strong! I can't imagine what it will do in some really cold weather It ran an 11.5 around 2pm, in the middle of the day. My friend took some video which I'll post as soon as I get it. I ran an 11.6 first run in the morning, no burnout, nothing. My friend ran the 11.5 on the last run.
