Default Tire pressure sensor not working

I took off the wheels to get new tires and for some reason the rear driver side tire dosnt even show a 0 reading. All it shows it the 3 lines going across. Can somebody help?? Thanks

I tried that when I had the wheels on. And it just got stuck for like 30 min on that same one that's not working. Thanks for the fast reply.

perhaps create a larger PSI change just to ensure it sends the RF signal... only other thing really is the battery is dead..

Discount tire has a tool that resets them. If that doesnt work, i have like 3 extra sensors in my garage. If yours is bad, ill sell you one for cheap.

How do you think the RF signal is sent by the sensor inside your wheel? They need power to send the value to the car to put that number on your dash...
they are activated by pressure CHANGE, hence the calibration procedure for your car to pick up the RF signal...
(same as your key fob... which also has a battery )

Typical TPMS sensor battery lasts 7 or so years.

your tire guy broke the sensor. they should pay for it...

No it had been going on and off and finally stayed off, so that's y I took off my wheels.
