The bottom you just pull up from the corner. The back part has 4 bolts.
It easy to pull the bottom part up.

dont forget about the bolts in the trunk up near the back of the seat.

But yeah, pull up on the bottom part of the seat. Release the nuts on the bolt's in the trunk up near the top of the back seat. Then go back in and undo the ones on the inside of the car at the bottom of the seat

4 10mm nuts at the top of the seat from the trunk, 4 15mm nuts under the seat cushion in the back.

There are nuts at the bottom of the rear uppers inside the passenger compartment, and bolts in the trunk. The lower seat just pulls up as the others have said.

Ok cool. Thanks. Pulling my passenger and rear seats to race a E92 M5... I figure it all has to be close to ~200lbs including the bucket in the trunk. ???

rear seats about 50lbs, trunk tub about 25, no where even remotely close to 200lbs. You pull the passenger seat you might hit that goal.

They dyno 400-410rwhp stock and have tremendous gearing. It is the E60 i am assuming (06-10). Above 100, it might get ugly if that mach 1 hung like it did. They are topend monsters.

I'm racing a car thats out of my class, I'm aware of this, so I just wanted to remove some easy weight? Does this bother you? It's all about power:weight, just trying put this fat bitch on 30 minute miracle diet lol

I think it's safe to say the majority of us have come from "fast" cars (500+rw Z06's, cobra's, camaro's... Whatever) and now we enjoy a more refined, practical vehicle, doesn't mean we still don't want to play.

Now, take it back! Lol

Sorry man, I just can't take it back. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
I know these cars aren't the fastest and I can live with that. I want to know how my car holds up to others in the same form I drive it in regularly.

When I had my Lightning I raced it at the track the same as I would drive it on the street(aside from tires). Interior stayed in, hitch was still on, bed cover still on, tailgate, spare tire, etc were still in place.
I prided myself on having a low 10 second 5,000lb pick up truck. I though it was pretty cool.
Same goes for my Grand National.

Oh well, goodluck and stay safe out there.

I don't think it's safe to say that at all.

Have fun shedding weight so you can win that stoplight gran prix!
