Well more of a HPDE course sponsored by the Audi club of NA. Those guys put on a great event. So here are the details.
Track:

I had on my 1.5 yr old nitto invos on. The tires were great when new but this was some serious abuse which i didnt prep for properly. A new set would have done great.

I had on a set of racing brake low dust pads which i would imagine arent track rated.

But thats lessons you learn from doing.

nah the pads were on the car for a while maybe a year. My serious lack of prep hurt me as i didnt take the abuse the car will take seriously. all i did was change the oil and diff fluid and drove there.

the rotors were fine. i had about 3/4 of pad left when i started, but like i said the low dust pad seemed to not like being at high temps. there were a few high speed braking zones that helped kill them.

no i had no wobbles but i seriously didnt like the dead spot my steering has right on center. it is very very light at that point which made going over that hill section at speed a leap of faith.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkl0_26yBAc

And this is the final session on day 2 ( we both were solo), i got new brake pads and this is a shot from my buddy bill who hunted me down. but wet track and inexperience shows when i visit the gravel trap.
