Corsa or Magnaflow for my '05 V
My car just got smoked last night parked in front of my house. I have a Magnaflow on it right now that is not going to survive. I'm not sure if I should stick with the Magnaflow or go with a Corsa. My Magnaflow was tuned with the car but I think the Corsa will get rid of the cabin drone. Doubt a Corsa would affect my tune.
So, need opinions. Corsa or Magnaflow????
Thanks!!
Car is slightly modded with a Thunder Cheater Cam.

I've had both on my car. The Magnaflow has a bit of drone when cruising around 55-65mph, especially when going up hills. The Corsa has none, but it is a little louder in general. I think the Corsa sounds meaner.

I guess in ls1tech world the phrase "smoked" could be a little misleading. I understand now and see my error. Here is a pic so that you can see what I mean. Aurora40 I agree with everything you said about the Magnaflow. That is spot on. I had actually been thinking about buying a Corsa and swapping my Magnaflow out but wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the cash. I think I'll go Corsa. I like the way the Magnaflow sounds from the outside but I'd prefer not having the cabin drone. Thanks for the opinions. I know there is an exhaust sticky but I wanted opinions after listening to them on-line. I'm still open to more opinions so keep'em coming. My CTS is still drivable but its going to take a week or two in the bodyshop. The drunk A-hole in the VW who his me is going to have much more time in the bodyshop than me. Thanks!

I am running LTs and Corsa and I absolutely love it. I just heard it for the first time tonight outside of the car and it sounds absolutely incredible. I was co-driving my first autocross with a very experienced friend and decided I would watch him run and listen to the car from the outside. I was beyond impressed with how good it sounds WOT outside of the car. It was also much louder than I thought it would be considering how quiet it is at idle. There is absolutely zero drone and is really quiet just cruising around.

4doorvetteLV,
Just so your aware. I checked with the Cadillac parts counter at my local dealership and a stock CTS-V exhaust runs about $1800. Corsa and Magnaflow are bargains compared to stock.
