spec 3 to LS7 clutch
Got a 04 V with a spec 3 clutch that is on its last leg, i have a LS7 clutch that i can put in.
I bought the car used, my question is with the car already having the spec 3 clutch installed do i still need a larger slave cylinder to be able to use the LS7 clutch?
thank you.

I have a complete clutch, flywheel, pressure plate that came off a C6Z06 i was planning on putting in. If i dont dant have to change the flywheel i wont but if it has to come out yes i will be using the LS7 one.

Depends on what Spec is in it. If its an LS1 style flywheel it will need to be changed. If it has an LS2/LS7 flywheel then you can just use that flywheel. About the slave, you really should measure to make sure you have the correct gap. Pretty simple but there is a thread in the man trans section of the forum. It probably already has an LS7 slave in it. The LS7 slave is what everybody uses when going to the LS7 clutch.
