Tick Performance C6 Master in a CTS-V

I'll take a look tonight. I almost went the same route. The Tilton MC is cheap. Around $100.
Having been through this it could be done more easily just purchasing the master and assorted parts, removing the twist lock mount, and mounting the MC to an adapter plate. The adapter plate can be a single piece of metal folded twice to yield a triangular/wedge shape. The piece closest to the firewall can bolt in place and the piece closest to the engine bay can provide mounting locations for the MC. A single weld where the folded metal meets would provide LOTS of strength in the adapter plate assembly. Depending upon what/when Phili does with his adapter I may go this route myself down the road.

Unless we are talking about two different connections then no. It is more similar to the single connector on this line. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mcl-139252/overview/
Take a look at this pic http://i747.photobucket.com/albums/x...408_224555.jpg
Even the hose that goes into the slave is a quick disconnect with retaining clip.
The connection between the slave and master (in the middle of the line is the same). The metal connector, pictured, is underneath the plastic quick disconnect pieces. So whether you are going to build a MC with a midline connector like stock or a long line option that goes all the way to the slave, I believe the you will need to source the metal quick disconnect fitting. If you go with a midline solution you will need the plastic quick disconnect (it fits over the metal) as well.

That is odd. Mine is an FTE (power torquer from Oreilly's) just as the picture you included. It does NOT have the type of fitting you circled. If you look at the picture I linked, the bottom fitting is the quick disconnect that I described. I selected that picture because it clearly shows the metal clip used as a retainer for the quick disconnect. The picture you included appears to be a threaded fitting (hard to tell because of the glare/picture saturation. None of my LS7 slaves (3 total) have had a threaded fitting in that location. All have had the quick disconnect that I described. I will try to get some pics tonight.

Hmm. Maybe there are 2 different versions? I'll have to see if i can find what mine is
I think I will just cut the hardline and put a flare fitting on it.

Well you beat me to it. I was just about to post a picture of the same fitting.
However I was wrong about something on this. The midline fitting is a little smaller and only has one oring.

That kit looks absolutely fantastic! If psycobilly's initial brave attempt hadnt worked out for me when I did it too, I would be on this 100%! Excellent upgrade. When will it be available? (I may try this kit out in my stock V)... I wouldn't do the C6 again now that this is available and surely less labor intensive! Haha
