I live in southern California... We don't get snow here. I have to drive like 2 hours to go skiing.

I was pretty sure I remembered that. I need mobile cleaners. I have no problem drilling my own holes if nobody else likes the washers.

haha every time I ever REAAALLY needed my windshield wipers like you mentioned in a snow storm.. I am either out of fluid or the blades are ****, and just ice my window... lol

countless times have I stuck my hand outside and cleaned my window temporarily just to continue down the road

and crappy gift cards work great as ice scrapers in a pinch

But I don't live in the snow any more, so I would prefer no sprayers.

Looks good, but not sure it will provide any additional clearance over stock or Extreme Composites. Any chance we can get pictures and measurements of clearance on the bottom side?

Quik - Thanks!

I know this has been asked already but... How much clearance do we gain with this hood? I really need the clearance and it is my first motivating factor for the purchase. I suspect there are others that are in the same situation. If the answer is none thats OK I will just wait for the next iteration but inquiring minds want to know

Right now the underside is just like oem, but I am going to be talking with them tomorrow to see if we can get the underside to follow the cowl and give us some clearance. I'll let you guys know what they say.

Awesome Quik, I agree 100% with Sssnake.. Clearance is the leading $ factor.

Keeping this going. I like how similar it looks to the new V's hood but not a direct knockoff. Functional vents with that area painted satin black and the rest of the hood color-matched to the car would look great with my TD black wheels on stealth gray.

Ran out of washer fluid the other day and had to pull over and clean the windshield with a snowball. Made me think of this thread. I chuckled.

No nothing new to report. The are going to make the hood as is, don't think it will have huge clearance underneath (long story, but we had some issues with a Vette hood we did) so now they are hesitant to try it.
