I used silicone spray and did all 4 of those plastic door latches.

I bought the car with 67k and it now has 128k...don't remember exactly when each of these went in off the top of my head but here's what all I can remember:

Under the Cadillac Certified Used Ext. Warranty:
Radiator
Water Pump
Clutch Position Sensor
Motor Mounts
Starter (dealer broke it when doing MM)
New Carpet incl. floor mats
New Emblems
New Stereo Unit
New Gauge Cluster
3rd Brake Light

At this point the service advisor who randomly kept upgrading stuff on my car was fired (I didn't push for any of the above non-mech. items, he just did it when it was in for other stuff...I didn't complain).

On my dime:
Tensioner
Alternator
Balancer
Rigged the hood hinges to not rattle

....and then we decided to throw a rod.

Now I have a pile of parts going in; mostly the remainder of the maintenance items and a forged 402 bottom-end. If anyone is wondering what will happen when you choke a 402 with stock heads and intake I'll be able to tell you in about 2 weeks. I imagine it will have a powerband exactly like a dump truck
