Default Ctsv1 shifter slop, what bushings do I need to replace

Hey guys just started driving the V I picked up over the winter. I know there's a a big gripe about the shifters in these cars and mine came with a B and M shifter installed (by previous owner) but there is still a lot of slop while in gear or even in neutral. You can just feel that the shifter moves quite a bit before any linkage actually moves. This has been bugging me so I am just wondering what bushings I need to replace or what I need to modify.

There's a lot of stuff. Your shifter may even be using the stock pivot which wears. Some of the newer ones have bearing pivots and replace that part. Other than that there are a lot of pieces depending on your comfort level of disassembly. If you are dropping the trans to do a clutch, there are things you wouldn't normally be able to reach. Search this forum and you'll find the threads.

I can make you some for the base of the B&M if you don't want to replace the entire shifter. Otherwise, switch to a Hurst shifter.
