That article alludes Cadillac already sells diesel vehicles in Europe. Not true.
Here's a different version:
While the next big things will be the new models that will spring up over the next few years, Cadillac is also planning to bring out a slew of diesel-powered cars across its model range. Cadillac currently offers diesels in Europe, but here in the states, we are remiss of oil burning machines.

Johan de Nysschen doesn't usually mince words about his plans, and the Cadillac boss says that diesel-fueled models are on the horizon for the luxury brand in the US by the early 2020s. The four- and six-cylinder engines under development would launch first in Europe about 2019.
