I honestly wondered why people always talked about heavier rear spring rates as 'correct' for these cars. now I understand. So the dumb wasn't all for nothing.

Are you planning on reinforcing your rear shock towers or putting a shock tower brace to join the two together to increase the stiffness in that area?

I have a tower brace right now. Just a home made jobber to do that. Yes.

And while a lot seem to worry about exactly that I feel there is no need. Remember the nivomat self leveling puts just as much if not more stress, when the car is fully loaded on that point. Due to the excess weight.

But since I plan on tracking the car the strut tower brace is a must as I'm sure the flex in the body would be amazing! Plus, I could feel a difference in the flex of the vehicle with and with out the brace, stock.

that area is plenty strong for a "true" coilover.

I have the tower braces on the front and rear top sides and now bottom side as well.

I hope this puts more traction on the pavement and gets rid of the slop and sway...

Only things left are four rubber bushings on the front upper and lower arms
