Carbon fiber v1 parts....
This guy posted up over on the other forum and even though I encouraged him to, I haven't seen him post up over here.
He discussed a possible carbon fiber rear spoiler group buy so it might not hurt to show interest if there is any....

Yup. I'm a big fan of being decent and stand up-ish. Which they are not. It's evident by the fact that right away they hit him up with "check on being a vendor" BS. Yes I clicked the link, no I'm not signing in to respond. If there is no competing vedor, which there is not, then why can't he sell a few parts? He is making them? I can see once a certain amount or dollar comes into play or again, a paying and competing vendor, but have you seen the vendor fees? Insane.

Just an FYI, if I decide to move forward with the parts, I will have the hood made but it would be the World Challenge design with louvers in it. Very similar to Naf's. Once the tooling is done, the part can be made but they aren't cheap by any means.
I've been working on a deal for months that keeps flaking out...

Have you seen the vendor fees? What are they? I've seen some numbers thrown around, but I've never seen anyone that actually was or tried to become a vendor say what the fees were.

NAF is obviously a V1 but has the dual louvers flushed into the hood...
As I am running a blower I definitely need hood clearance. So should I be excited or disappointed?

lol I was just going through this forum this evening, doing some research, and just saw this thread. I'm the one from the other forum, I just haven't gotten around to posting here yet.
To clarify, you guys 150% correct....vendor fees through these automotive forums are absolutely insane! And the problem is that there is a very, very, very fine line that you walk when making posts like what I did on CF. I don't think it's fair for me to lists prices for these vendor fees, but just know that they can get into the thousands of dollars depending on the package. And considering the fact that most performance auto manufacturers/sellers are small businesses, it takes a big commitment to shell out that kind of $$. Which is why someone like myself, wants to know there is a market before spending big money. Let alone the costs associated with production runs. I'll run the official buy on this forum simply because it's not as expensive.
I need to make the first run before I start any kind of buy, but I fully intend to be ready by month end. Rear flush mount spoiler first, and after that run I'll probably just take a poll for what to do next. Keep in mind that virtually any part can be made, but the time/cost of production is what I have to consider. I typically don't take deposits, meaning I have to front the expense associated with development.

Tell him Chris from NY said hello.
"seems expensive" = part of the reason most of these parts never gathered much traction.
