Great pics. That stance is perfect. I like the shot with your orange running lights.

yeah, i'm glad i decided to keep it simple and not do a switchback. they're just some bright *** LED bulbs right now with a forward facing projector lens to help with dispersion in the completely black housing.

I took it out for a spin about 6pm last night, main road was OK, but my neighborhood hadn't been plowed in a while so it was hard to get moving on hills (and my driveway spits me out in the middle of a hill). About 9:30pm I shoveled the driveway clear and cleaned the car off, but didn't try driving it again. Less than 12 hours later it looked like an igloo. Street doesn't look like it's been plowed in a while, so I'm fairly certain I won't be going anywhere soon.

LOL no, the heads are on the bench off to the side, just the intake and fans and other little plastic stuff I think. There's a blanket under it too.

Finally got my car in last weekend.

2005 V with 60k miles.

H&R springs, K&N and headers on it. Wanted a stock car but this thing is nice and I can't complain one bit.

Super pumped.

knowing what we all know, buying one that's 100% stock is actually a loss due to the fact that you have to replace all of the mounts on the entire car. i'd have loved to have gotten one with headers, motor/trans mounts, and all the cradle/diff bushings as a start. oh well, live and learn.

Congrats Rocky. Looks clean.

Do the rear shocks have the spacers to defeat the nivomat feature when lowered?

Appreciate that BudRacing.

To be honest I'm not sure if there is spacers in the back or not.

When I had it raised I was just looking at pretty much everything else to make sure there wasn't any serious issues.

When I raise it back up soon Ill take a look and if it doesn't, get some Mighty Mouse spacers in there real soon.

I need to roll the front fenders though; and pretty iffy on doing that. (cracking the paint deters me from doing it myself sadly.)

Congrats once again! I was in the DFW area a couple weeks ago and didnt see any v1s roaming around. Mainly g8s oddly enough.

you can get this done with a heat gun and a rubber mallet without cracking the paint. take your time. i usually use this method to start the roll going, then switch to my fender roller.

Are you able to roll the whole fender lip?

Looks like mine may be making a lot of contact towards the front near the front bumper lip.

I was just going to bite the bullet and order the Eastwood roller with the adapter plate for the 6 lug, and a heat gun of course.
