It's actually more likely the driveshaft if it's vibrating.
I think it has to do with the bearing where the two pieces of the driveshaft come together.

^ yeah could be a half shaft bushing, happend twice on
my 03 non "v' (over the course of 5 yrs ). gm makes you buy the whole
driveshaft...if i remeber correctly?
not a 20 dollar bushing...i still have one(a spare bushing) if you need.
(although it is used and might be smarted to go new...let me know)
mine sounded different than vid as it only vibrated at high speed
and allthough it sounded like it was comming from the rear,
it was the front driveshaft bushing... just a reference if ur symptoms
arent easy to assess. might also be craddle (rear end) bushings???

the drivetrain clunk and clangy noise was a diff bushing however I still have the vibration at 2500 rpm the dealer is telling me that it is something with the engine or acceserys does this make sense they said they could not find a bulliton with my issue so they have to start taking it apart to find the issue thankgod I have warranty anyone know what the problem could be?????
