Default 2015 1LE, baseline, CAI and headers results!

Well the new car is here-so what better way to break it in-other than hit the dyno.

Here are the results.

Car was delivered with 87 octane in the tank-so the baseline was a bit lower than expected-we noticed quite a bit of knock on the baseline pulls.

We then drove around to empty the tank then filled it with fresh Shell 91. We then added a SLP CAI-and redyno'd-no tuning.

After that we added some LG headers and a 160 stat-and then we redyno'd and tuned it to AFR of 12.75 at this point and dialed in the fuel trims.

Not a bad gain.

Car also went to track-need to figure out this TM-no matter how we tried to launch it only ran 2.2-2.4 sixty's and pulled power on the 1-2, 2-3 shift, it still ran 13.1@111.
I never realized the car had launch control so I will try that next.

We'll be back again to get the 60's down and this should easily run 12's on the factory radials.

DMS cam kit going on next.

Very nice.

Did you disable the TC before the runs?

Well after reading the owners manual last night-apparently not! I need to hold the botton down until both TC and Active handling lights are on the dash.

I'll be back again very soon-12's for sure!!!!

30hp with CAI and some better gas. That seems like quite a bit. Im surprised they sent the car out with that gas.
Should be alot better when you disable that TC. Cant wait to see numbers when cam goes in.
Plan on contacting you soon Arun. Its Scotty. Daves friend. I got a turbo deal i been working on and may need some help.
Good luck with your new beast. Love the color scheme.

Dealers do it all the time(87 octane)thats how these cars get the rep of over weight dogs.

I believe 30hp is possible, I gained 2/10ths and 2 mph at the track running a K/N CAI on my 2010.

You can see the dips in the curves from the first graph and how unstable it was up top. I was surprised myself why they would fill with 87.

I'm itching to get back to the track-that LC is pretty slick!
