Default TMP results from last night...

So I load up my Firebird with all 4 race wheels, mytools, a full 10lbs bottle of NO2 and a 5 gallon jug of Mark 2 race gas and headed down to TMP yesterday evening ... just before leaving I filled up with the tank with 94 thinking I would get there close to empty (mistake!). Much to my surprise I got there with over half a tank left I checked the DA the night before and it went down to close to 0ft... As I am sweating doing my tire change I could tell the air was OK but not great... It was in the +1000ft range early in the evening. My plan was to get in a couple good motor passes and try the 100HP shot. I spoke with the guy who I buy the race gas from (Mitch) he's the same guy that sells gas at TMP and he said that because I had so much 94 in the tank I should use the stronger Mark 5 fuel to get me to level of Mark 2... so we throw in a 5 gallon jug of Mark 5 and before you know it I have around 3/4's of tank of gas (mistake #2). So at this point I have a couple things against me and my desire to get a new PB on the motor...
1) too much fuel in the tank
2) true 28" tall tire (too much tire for motor only)
3) I am driving around with a milder nitrous tune
4) good but not great air... as the temp went down, the humidity sky rocketed...
Enough excuses here's my best motor only pass of the night...

Not the 10 second I was hoping for but a new PB on the motor... it's hard building a car to run well on the motor and the spray... my converter is a 3 disk type that is designed for nitrous and I am on a VERY tall tire to make sure I don't run out of gear when spraying... the car works much better with a 27" tall tire on the motor... I guess all these hurdles could be overcome with more motor

At this point I decide if I don't spray it on the next pass I will not get to spray it all I tried to bring up the bottle pressure, but the heater and alternator under drive pulley don't work well together and I had to make sure I did not kill the battery... I could not get the pressure much higher than 800lbs (not enough!). Here's my only spray pass of the night, another PB by a couple 1/100th's

i was at tmp sat night , i saw a black firebird running with skinnys up front, i dont know if thats your car, if it is , thats a killer car, sounded real nice too. whats done to the motor?

That was me 385CI LS1... so far 11.1 on the motor and 10.2 with spray... shooting for 10's on the motor and 9's on the spray... I drove to TMP all the way from Whitby (~200KM) with all 4 racing wheels in the car... next time drop by to say hello... my name is Andre... I plan on going back this Saturday...
