Default King Demon RS for 408

I am planning on putting together a 408 for my camaro. I picked up a king demon rs 895 for a great deal!! I will be running a custom grind cam(tbd later), gmpp intake, patriot stage 3 243's, msd 6010, and 1 3/4 long tube headers!! Is This going to be a good carb for my build, or should I stick to a standard 4150 style. I will be adding nitrous too. However the chassis will need to be upgraded to go 9's!! Thanks!!

Should be fine with that carb, I have a Pro Systems 1000 on mine and its almost dead on when I bolted it down. Should be a aggressive setup pending the cam selection.

A suggestion of mine is to run 1 7/8" headers, they will just flow better and give more HP.

If you use nitrous I would get a small tank and do it stand alone.

Are you going high compression? and what kind of car is this going in?

The 4500 style carb will only be happy with a 4500 style intake. Adaptors are not the solution either. If you dont use a 4500 style intake, then don't use the 4500 carb

I think I am going around 12:1 comp. I also have the parts to convert it to a 1050 also! I have seen this carb run and it was working great with the adapter, so hopefully it works fine for me. I do plan on using a 4500 intake later on though. Thanks!!
