Default Carb'd 5.3 build...cam question

Ive got a 5.3L with 86,000 miles on it. So far Ive got a set of 243 heads, milled to 61cc and just a valve job (no porting) by AI to keep the compression between the factory 9.5 and about 10:1. Im using an Edelbrock dual plane intake with a Holly 650 carb. I also just picked up a rebuilt 4L60E out of a GMC Sierra that also came with the torque converter and proper wheel to bolt to a 5.3. This is going in my 1972 daily driven Suburban, my question is, what cam would you guys suggest?

Ive got a factory 2003 Z06 cam sitting around, but thought about going a bit bigger 224/228 581/588 on a 112. I want something thats going to have a nice lope, and make good low end torque, but nothing thats going to buck/surge/or be a pain in the *** to drive.

Just wanted to get some input before I start putting this thing together

If you just want a little more, the edelbrock 2215 grind may be what your looking for. 220/220, .510 lift on a 111 lsa.
