If you want the best, look no further than Lonnie at Extreme Automatics. Im running his stage 2 2004R and it will take more than I can throw at it and still be as street friendly as a stocker. SpeedTigger is running the same trans in the fatcat, clipping 10.0s at 130+.
No one can build one any better! And that comes straight from the guys that compete with him for business. His stage 1 will hold your setup without a wimper, even if you spray a little, down the road !

I would call Lonnie on Monday morning and talk to the man in person. Its been a year since I talked to him, but back then he was very busy and I don't know how much time he has for answering Emails. Plus its easier to tell him what you have and get his take on it in a conversation. Just a suggestion.

IMHO the best bang for your buck is going to be ck performance they manufacture the billet input shaft and forward drum in house plus they offer an option for a four clutch pack overdrive they dual feed and rollerize their units give Chris a call great guys to deal with and excellent customer service.

I would second or third the recommendation for Lonnie. He has a great rep for customer service on the Turbo Buick community & for high quality 200r4 builds. Believe me, if anyone can beat a 200r4 down, the TR guys can. His rep has been built over many years with them.

I spent about 6 months picking brains over there before I made my choice to go with Lonnie. I don't know that there may not be another builder or two that can build as good a 2004R as Lonnie can, I do know no one can build a better one !

First time ive looked into these guys. They have a Stage 1 4L80 that supports 1,000 hp for $1,850 w/1 year warranty. Plus they are about 2 hours from me. Im definatley giving these guys a call. Thanks for the heads up.
