Default Thinking of making the jump will this cam work?

Hey carb guys thinking of making the carb switch for a kit car I may build. Will the cam in this motor be worth a damn with a carb or should it be changed? Ls2 mated to a tko 600 trans and no choice of manifold yet

It would work, but like EFI, the torque won't come in as early as a tighter LSA. The signal to the carb is not as strong as a tighter LSA as well. Bit nothing you would notice.

Any recommendations on an intake manifold for that type of cam then?

For a carbureted set up, there really is no manifold that will like that cam. That cam is just not going to be optimal.

Put a blow through hair dryer set up with that cam. I bet it would run good that way! Seriously, those specs would look good if the LSA was tightened up to 110-111 and installed plus 4 or so.
