Exclamation ls1 to conventional carb'd 350

I just broke my ls1 in my 1999 ws6 and I have a 350 conventional setup to put in it does anybody know what to do with the header situation?

Why not drop a 5.3 in it? By the time you buy headers, Mounts, fuel regulator and the other parts needed for the swap you could just buy a 5.3 or 6.0, You might even find a good LS1.

93-97 style LT1 headers are the same as SBC.

Bummer on the engine dude!

TO"DE"-retrofit a Gen I small block first you will have to buy a boat, then a long chain. Then bolt one end of the chain to the boat and the other end to the SBC. Then find the nearest body of water, drop anchor and go fishing while searching CL for a 5.3L engine.

My vote is with LLLosingit.

I wouldn't bother. Another LS can be had for pennies of what it would take to get it converted to a older style motor.
