Getting really close just got the exhaust put on, flowmaster 40 series 2.5 dual in dual out. Have to finish the shifter move my trans cooler and clean up a few wires in the engine compartment should be ready for a test drive this week can't wait. I need to mess with the timing and carb tuning also. May have some questions on that later. I did run it around the trans is not wired up yet so defaulted to 2nd gear but I can tell it gonna be fun it will still bust the tires loose in second just messing around.

Sounds like blowmasters. Lol not bad. I don't like them on LS motors for some reason.

i like the flowmaster sound on just about all v8 engines. it's plenty muffler for a 5.3 with a good header. I pipe setup. i'm not wild about the performance once you go 5.7+CI

Don't let them get under your skin about the FM's....I dropped my full exhaust from the collectors back and gained about .15....probably from the weight ?

Sounds about right, seen several cars gain HP from removing a blowmaster and going to other muffler systems. Especially straight through design like the flowmaster outlaw and bullets.

If I was not on a budget and looking for more hp I might have went a different route, I really don't think this little truck needs any more power right now lol. I've been to busy to get it finished up and it's killing me hopefully I can get the shifter done tomorrow
