Default stock 6.0 with edelbrock preformer with msd 6010

Was planning on going with the preformer p/n 71187 and the msd 6010 controller on a stock LQ4 that is going in a 1st gen camaro. anyone had any issues?

no issues, pretty straight forward and not much to go wrong. Both are good products and work well.

On a stock motor a 750 would be good, you could even do a 650 and it might feel a little snappier all around without losing much on the top end.

Ran a performer and MSD ignition on my 4.8 when it was stock. No problems.

650 vacuum secondaries?? thats what i would think?

What transmission are you running? If it is an automatic, what torque converter/stall converter? What rear gear?

what else do you have to do to complete the swap for wiring? I am thinking about doing the same thing but with a 3rd gen camaro

200r4 with stock convertor, 3.73 and 26 in tire.

With a stock converter, a 750 vacuum secondary is nice. You could run a mechanical secondary, but it might require rolling into the throttle at low RPM to avoid a bog.
