Default Looking for cam help!

I am looking for advise for what cam to buy I am building a lq4 with stock 243 heads performer rpm 6010 msd would like to make 450ish going in a grand national with a 200r4 with 3000 stall converter 3:42 gears

450 RWHP is probably not going to happen with stock heads. You are likely looking more at 400 RWHP through your 3000 stall if everything is tuned well.

I ran a 3000 stall for a few years and I made 440 RWHP and ran 11.0s in a #3700 car with a 226/234 on 110+3 in an LQ9 with ported LS6 heads. I think that is a great cam for what you are doing. These days I have become a fan of Cam Motion. They can whip that up for you no problem.

I agree 450 rwhp is probably not going to happen...especially with a stalled auto. If it does then it's a very generous dyno, and should not be taken with a grain of salt
