Default Bosch 044 + Carburetor

I know this pump is meant for fuel injection, but could it be used with a carburetor if the pressure was regulated low enough? I bought the 044 from JayRacing, but have since decided to go with a carburetor and since I can't seem to get ahold of them for a return, I'd like to use it somehow.

Thanks.

That will make an excellent carb pump. Mate it to a return style regulator and you will be good to go. At carb pressures it will have massive HP potential.

I have been thinking of ditching my noisy external carb pump for a FI internal. Gives one options in case I ever get the urge to move to FI

Noisy, lot of them die, lot of fakes, need to really bleed down a lot of pressure at reg. Sell it and buy a low pressure carb pump

Thanks everyone. Doing some quick math

Bosch 044: 300LPH free flow = ~80 gph
Carter P4070: free flow = ~72 gph

I would imagine that these numbers don't change much at low carb pressures (6psi). Both are similar and will support my power level, but the bosch doesn't seem to have much advantage at lower pressures, considering a holley blue will flow over 100 gph (400lph).

However, if I end up not being able to sell or return it, what would be a good regulator for this pump? I have the one that holley puts in with their red/blue/black pumps, will that do the job?
