i would like some input on whats the best carb intake and head combo for a build. i have a set of custom long tube headers that i used on a set of L92 heads sold the motor but kept the headers. I am not sure of what heads will have the same bolt pattern? so i dont have to spend another $1,000 on headers. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Also i am in the market for heads and intake or complete motor? thanks again. Brian.

When I ordered my headers, there was no mention of what heads....I think the exhaust ports are the same ?

That is unless your old heads were a raised port or angle milled ?

I previously had a 2008 2500 vvt motor put a custom pat g cam in it and had the l92 rectangle port heads. What i am asking is what is a better head than that . That i can still use my headres with. That will make more power. i had a victor jr with those heads . Thanks Brian.

also just a little confused on all this ls1 ls2 ls6 ls7 basicly i want to know what is the biggest best head that my header will fit?

Any of them.....UNLESS....raise port, different angle than stock, spread port, or some ported apps they "may" not work with.

You would need to ask the head Mfg. you go with.

ok with all that said what in everyones opinion would be the best all around head?

What's your budget? Hp goal?

I'd love a set of the new dart heads released at pri, or frankenstein chimera heads. But both are worth more than my engine, lol

what can i get for $2,000 would like to sspray 3-400 shot. Building engine for adune toy we only race 3-500 foot looking to do a bigger build than i had. 6.0 with ported l92heads bigger springs pat g cam spraying a 200 shot ran nice but looking to get a little more. Also heard the mast 2 piece intake was better than the victor jr i had?
