Thermostat Help
I'm new to these ls motors and need help picking the proper t stat.
What thermostat are you carbed guys running? If I search for this topics its a bunch of dipshits arguing about when to turn on fans etc.
This is going in a mostly stock 5.3 that is carbed and will live at the track. Not a street car.
Thanks again.

Being a track car, you may want to check out the electric water pumps if your budget allows it. I have a Meziere 35gpm on mine with NO thermostat. I've driven all over with no issues, even drove it to a track 2 hours away.

There are several different companies that have high flow thermostats. We run a stainless Hypertech 180.

I run a truck set-up and have a 160 T-stat.(street/strip car)
But, it you're strictly track, I think a restrictor might be best ? (do they make for LS motors ?)

I think I will run the stocker. Thanks for all the input.
Wish I could afford an electric pump but screw spending 600 bucks on one or trying the adapter plates and a bbc e pump.
