Default Opinions on this custom cam

hi all, I had cam ground up for my 243 headed 6.0 ltr.
I didn't give a power goal, but emphasised how I need low end grunt- around 3000 rpm, then the rest of the race the rpm would sit around 5-6500 rpm.
This is a marine application and this is the cam I was sent-
.050- 208, 210
.006- 259, 262
lift- .537, .510
centers- 107, 111
lobe sep- 109.

I was told this be VERY square on HP and torque figures. I'm scared it won't make 500hp and this boat hull needs at least 500 for it not to be a pig around bends.
Heads flow a very stable 290 cfm, pump fuel and vic Snr.
Thanks!

Very interesting baby cam with a tight LSA. Gunna make some serious dynamic compression with a 107 lobe center and that little duration. Torque monster. Way cool cam but no way it makes 500hp IMO.

I'll be devastated if it wasn't worth 500hp!
maybe it's my fault, but this a well known shop and I said it was a race engine. I would've thought that a 6.0 LS with 11:1 and nicely ported 243's would smash 500 without really trying?

@ .050 is 208 intake and 210 exhaust ?

That's smaller than stock and why 500 could be well out of reach ?

Low end ? You should have plenty. I think you'll also be very rpm limited.

correct- intake is smaller than exhaust.

Probably over emphasised the importance of low end grunt needed to pull out of the hole.
