Default 00' 16" Trans am wheels on 85' Camaro?

Is this possible?

I tried to mount my 16" rims from my 2000 Trans am to my friends 85 camaro, the offset is so much different they wouldn't go. Does anyone sell a kit or anything to adapt to the right offset? His is offset in the center of the wheel were mine is at the edge, so if you spaced it enough, they would fit right?

Is there a kit?

You need about a 2" spacer/adapter

I would say 2" thick, 5x4.75 to 5x4.75.
