My husband has a friend who purchased a California Car Cover for his 2002 SS about 3 years ago which sits outside year round in NY. They call the material superweave. Our friends car looks amazing after sitting outside for so many years in the rain and snow. The material is very lightweight and acts as an umbrella so the water can't get through the cover.
My husband recently sold his 2001 SS and had purchased one of those covers as well prior to selling his car. I think he paid between $350 - $400 for it. It is a custom fit car cover for 4th generation Camaro's. It is called superweave and the color is grey.
I came on this site to post the cover for sale and then came across your post. I know a few SS owners who have had this same cover for outdoor cars and they all thought they were great covers.
If you are interested, please send me a PM. Thanks.

I have the SLP cover, just because it has the SS logo on it & the car is garaged anyway.
I have heard good things about the Wolf as well as the California car covers. The type you get all depends on the use of the cover. Inside vs. Outside.
If you are going to use a cover outside, I have heard the wind blows and puts scratches in it from dust & sand that gets blown under the cover.

Thanks.
Is the stormweave lighter material than the superweave?
Reason I ask is because I've heard the superweave wasn't very easy to fold up and carry with you...
...but yours doesn't look like it would be hard to fold up compactly

I've had a Califoria Cover. It worked very well. The SLP Cover is not an outside cover. It works great in a garage situation. Nice Silver finish with 35th Aniversary Logo. I have a brand new 35th Aniversary Cover and matching carrying bag with cable and lock, if anyone is interested. I no longer have the car.
