First--both of these were optional items, right? I autocross in a class that's fairly restrictive, so I have to scrounge for ways to save weight. However, I can legally remove any optional equipment. My car has CC and ASR; I rarely use the first, and never use the second. Does anyone know how to delete these items so that the car would be identical to one that never had these options in the first place?

Yes, I know I can just turn off ASR, but if I can save a couple pounds by removing it, I'd like to.

Is there a definitive source anywhere that discusses all the options were available, and all the differences between each year on a fourth gen?
