Question TRANSMISSION HELP! please :)

I have a 2000 ss camaro, 4l60e automatic... the clutch discs for 3rd are worn out so i have only 1st an 2nd gear. cant exactly afford to have it rebuilt but can buy the parts and gonna do it myself.. yeah i know... but if someone can please help with the best rebuild kit, cheapest and the site or place it'd be greatly appreciated.. also a shift kit. and if theres anything else recommended let me know as well.. thank you

stock rebuild kit from advanced auto parts uses borg warner plates just like GM. a master rebuild kit cost under $200 last time i bought one.

for shift kits, of all the ones i've installed i like this one the best

i would try to get another trans in the same condition and rebuild that then when your done you can just take out the old one and put the new one in. you can get one for really cheap on craigslist. You could take a little more time and your car wont be stuck in one spot for awhile.

I didn't care for the TCI shift kits. They didn't seem as crisp or firm of shifts.
