Default Weighed my Z28 today

Stopped at a local scrapyard and had my car weighed today. Tipped the scale at 3480 with a 1/4 tank of fuel without me in it. Car is fully loaded leather t-top car m6. Nothing removed, mods are in sig car still has spare tire jack, and a 10" sub/box in the rear. Sound about right to everyone? Are scrap scales typically accurate compared to DOT scales? I dont have any near me so I was jw.

Sounds about right. Gutted 4th gen road race cars weigh roughly 3000 lbs FYI.

Yeah I agree sounds about correct. You know the scrape yards will not want to pay more for the scrape they weight Very accurate scales IMO.
