Default 2000 SS build suggestions

Hi all. I was looking for suggestions and advice on a possible build. I have a '00 SS thats 99% stock. Its got a y-pipe, glass packs, and LCAs. After owning it for about 7 years now, I think its about time I started building it up.

What I have is a TR224 cam kit ready to go in and LS6 intake. I'm debating about a fresh set of 243 heads to go along with it.

My other option is, I have my L76 6.0 long block out of my G8 I'm having rebuilt after a LS7 lifter bit the dust. I replaced it with a nicely built LS3 motor, but I now have a spare motor laying around.

I could sell it or put it in the SS. Its a tough call. I have a feeling the engine swap will cost more (I rent time at a DIY shop) but it would be much more gratifying. However, if I sold it, I would have more cash to play around with.

Im sure I'm not the first person trying to figure out to build or swap.

Btw, goals are just a decent N/A street car, with occassional strip use. Contemplating if I want to set it up for the turns or not.

Thanks!
