Want to replace the 2 ohm front door speakers with Alpine sps-610 coaxial 2 way speaker system 80 watts rms. How do I do it but still hook to the monsoon factory amp ?

I did something similar when I wanted to replace the original door midrange (decayed) speakers. I just wired the new coax one as usual and clipped a wire from the new tweeter to disable it. Or instead you could just unplug the old tweeter. I didn't like the loss of volume though, as mine were 3.2 ohms and naturally didn't have as much sound as the original 2 ohm ones. I had to adjust the balance off center to keep it sounding right. I later found some OEM Delco 2-ohm replacements and went back to using them.
