Default 5.3 or 6.0?

Starting to think about getting in the market for an iron block to put in my 02 Z28

CURRENT MODS:
Trickflow 225 heads
Custom Grind Cam 228/234/113LSA
Fast 92
Wilson 95mm TB
Nitrous outlet wet plate
150 shot
Under drive pulley
LS6 injectors
Kooks LTH
Kooks HFC
Borla 3" CatBack
3800 stall
Tuned with HP
Stock bottom end

Current tune making 456rwhp/425tq

S60 w/ Detroit Locker and 4.10 gear
Chromoly driveshaft
Weld RT-S wheels

So the question I have is sometime in the future I'm planning on trying to put an iron in so I can run some pressure and get a little more power

Some of the questions I have are

Should I go with a 5.3 or a 6.0 if I'm planning on running boost in the near future? Also considering upping my nitrous shot

Will my current mods fit on the iron block? (Heads, intake, cam etc.)

Planning on also putting in a TH400 w/ Transbrake if that changes anything

Also would like some pointers for looking for a motor.

Thanks
John

I'd go with a 6.0. It'll be nice with your current setup and have more power than the 5.3 when you're off the bottle and will handle the boost you plan on throwing at it down the line.

Build the biggest motor you can afford every time

Throw enough boost at the 5.3 it can really haul azz but why not go bigger if you can

More ya have the more ya get

5.3's are great but I'd go ahead and get the 6.0.
The 6.0s are actually cheaper by about 2-300$ around here.
