First time being in a forum. I have a 99 SS Camaro I ordered and bought in 99. Loaded with all options, 6 speed manual trans. 1,800 miles. Been trying to sell but no takers except giveaway buyers. Been hearing the talk lately about the LS1 engines. Decided to keep to keep car and let's hot rod it a little. Maybe ASA cam and exhaust. Need advice. I've got a 69 Z/28 that I've had since 71 and grew up on old school hot rod ways. Any advice appreciated.

Keep it and find a cheap mid mileage LS1 car to modify. There are few and far between of an extremely low mileage 15 year old car.

Late models simply haven't appreciated yet. Something like you describe will be worth some money in another couple of decades when people who couldn't buy when new are looking for pristine, like-new examples.

With that said, none of us are getting any younger, nor can we take it with us. Enjoy the car while you can (and especially to make up for the dust collector that it's been the past 15 years!).
