I haven't done much lately, but I did finally decide to just take the side stripes off completely... Fresh pics...

Car looks good but I'm curious why not do the Camaro letters in black on the back to match the black hood decal in the front?

Just a personal choice. The entire car is black/silver/Grey except the rear end. The rear end has Red Tail lights, the red Brake light, and the Redish Orange Chevy symbol. It also matches the Red letters on the license plates.

You are not the first to mention that, I may look at it again the future.

I still haven't installed my Hooker Blackheart Exhaust, and I am now leaning towards pro-charging the car. That will mean upgrading the rear end and tranny first and tightening up the frame rails. I am in no hurry. The car makes my smile every time I take it for a drive.

Gotcha! Yeah I can see why you did the red now, and that makes sense, but I really think the black would look better. To each their own though.

I really wish I had the patience to save up for a blower, because I know I'd absolutely love it, so my 150 shot will have to do until that day comes

Great move IMO. Really cleans the look up nicely.

As for the rear CAMARO lettering, I actually kind of like the red outline with black center that you have there. If you are looking to tie it together with even more items on the car, you could switch to SS badges from an original black car. Black SSs came from the factory with red outline badges (vs. silver for other paint colors), just like your current rear lettering. I think that would be an interesting consideration.

I'm glad to see you ditched the side stripes. How come you didn't do the manta stripe for the hood also to match the spoiler stripe?

That is interesting about the Black SS badges, I may look into that, thanks!

I bought several different stripe packages (and have tried a few combos in this thread) but the main reason I didn't use the manta stripe is I wanted these emblems on the sides of the scoop...

I like the side scoop emblems for sure, and this is the exact reason I went with the hood scoop fill in decal over the manta stripe.

Hey John, nice to meet you on here! Thanks I appreciate the kind words. I need to get some pics of the Hooker Blackheart Exhaust now that it is installed and update this thread.

You like your blackheart setup? I have it on my car sounds mean as hell way better than my old borla and tucks up nicely now I don't have to pull in my driveway at a angle

Yes I love it! It does tuck up nice, I can still do speed bumps with no problem even with the car lowered on Strano Springs and Konis.

Yeah my car is on stranos and konis as well and a speed bump ripped off my borla system and bent it so clearance was an important factor in my new exhaust
