Every time I go to start it, it cranks real slow. About a good 3-4 turns and it'll fire up. I just recently put on a somewhat used alternator that I got from my buddy since mine went out. It runs perfectly fine after it starts. Car had been slightly modified as well. But the problem has occurred on and off, even before the old alternator went out and is more frequent now. I would appreciate the help, fairly new to dealing with street/stip cars

Have the battery and alternator tested. Verify all cables and wires are nice and tight.

Sure enough it was just a battery
