Default lt1 into a 87 iroc

has any one done this what neede to ba changed?

It's really one of the simpler swaps. An LT1 is basically a SBC in terms of bolting in , so that part is fairly simple. Speartech can make you a harness that will allow you to wire the computer up and other than a fuel pump and exhaust , you're set!

I did one several years ago. It was really easy. I used the entire setup all accessories alternator, ps, everything out of an LT1 Vette. It all dropped right in and fit perfectly. The Camaro power steering line even bolted up with a little tweaking. The headers fit fine even with the angle plug heads. If you get a Vette motor you will need to change the oil pan.

I used an Accel DFI setup. So I can’t tell you too much about wiring up the Vette or Camaro computer in your car.
