Default need info on my '84 Z28 2-seater vert

Its an '84 Z28 black 5.0L HO carbbed motor w/ 31k documented original miles. It was converted into a 2 sseater convertable by AutoForm and then sold thru a Chevy dealership back in '84. I've heard that they did this to Z28s and Trans Ams between '83-'85. Does anyone know how many of these were made and what they are worth? My bro-in-law said it was appraised at $14k-$16k but i dunno if thats true. Heres a link to a pic of the car http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...599_1_full.jpg

Thanks for any help and sorry if peolpe have beaten this question to death in the past but i cant find any info on here or the net except for pictures

The man you need to ask about this is Willie on www.thirdgen.org . Super nice guy and he eats , breathes , and sleeps 3rd gens . Your car is not all that common and is definitely worth something with that low of mileage. I've seen AutoForm cars before but not very often. Willie is a moderator of the convertible forum there and is very helpful. Hit him up.

Very nice looking 3rd gen! This is the first time I've heard of or seen an AutoForm conversion.

Default Auto Forms Top

I have a brand new top for the "84" auto form Z28.

I have the car as well but it is pretty rough. Bought the car with intentions so I invested $1,200.00 in a top and found the car was too far gone.

Anyone know of an owner looking for a sweet top?

Thank you,

Gary
